So, months ago my wife and I upgraded to Windows 10. Right off the bat, I saw issues. During that time I was building a new computer and decided to do with Windows 10. What ever millions of things that could make Windows act differently on my XPS L502x (yes 502, ill explain in a sec) laptop from my new computer, windows 10 works amazingly on my new computer! I figure the reason it didn't go all great for my laptop is because it was an upgrade instead of a fresh install. whatever the reasons, Windows 10 upgrade on my laptop = ***, windows 10 on my new desktop = WIN.
Okay, so whats the point?
Apparently my wife felt the exact same way and had many problems but didn't really say anything to me until now... months after she upgraded to windows 10. At this point it's not a straight forward system restore. These aren't really small issues, this needs to be done.
I have a disk for Dell XPS L501X Drivers and Utilities. I also have a disc for Windows 7 Home Premiere, which is what the aforementioned Laptop came with. Can I use either Win 7 disc or Dell Drivers and utilities to do a full system format and restore?
If there is no way to do a system format/restore to win 7, please no other suggestions for win 10. If we cant restore to win 7, we'll probably just look into options for a new laptop.
