I need someone's help as I can't figure this out. My 8900 came with Windows 10 Home installed. I ran it this way until my Samsung 950 Pro arrived. I disconnected my Sata drive and installed the Samsung card in the M2 Slot. (I know about the speed issue). I inserted the OEM Windows 10 Pro disk. Using the boot manager the PC booted the disk and installed the Windows 10 Pro Software. When done the PC rebooted and all was fine except one problem. It says Windows 10 Home not Pro, I did this process multiple times. I tried to upgrade to Pro and selected that I already had a key and it would not accept the key. Since it was sealed copy I called Microsoft and they validate that the key was genuine and was for a Windows 10 Pro 64 bit OEM install. They told me that the problem was something that Dell was doing to store the Windows 10 Home Product key in the BIOS. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can install the Windows 10 Pro version without is always defaulting to the Stored Windows 10 home key?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
