I tried updating this program last night by clicking update now. The version I had at the time was 1.61. The file downloaded & started to install. Right at the end I got an error saying "Access Denied." When I closed out of the program & opened it back up it had update but only to 1.75.63. I am running Windows 8.1 & have not been able to find out if this version is compatible. I need to create backup & restore media as my hard drive is in need of replacement. I was going to upgrade to a Premium subscription but am hesitant to do so if I am having a problem just getting it to update. Also, I have not been able to find pricing anywhere & apparently, you can't find out the cost until you go through the ordering process. This seems a little shady.
Does anyone know ( 1.) If 1,75 is compatible with Win 8.1 2. (2) How much the Premium upgrade costs &if it is worth it. Also I have seen negative comments about the program. Does anyone know of a better option for doing a restore?
