Help needed to restore Dell XPS 8500 to factory settings

I have just bought a 2nd hand Dell XPS 8500 & I would like to restore it to factory settings but I don't have a restore disk to do it with as one wasn't supplied with the PC.

I have read the me & my dell pdf & it says about using Dell Factory Image Restore but following the following instructions I can't get it to launch

"1. Turn on or restart the computer.
2. When the DELL logo appears, press <F8> few times to access the
Advanced Boot Options window"

My PC just loads windows however many time I press F8.

The main reason I want to to a factory restore other than to get a fresh start is it looks like the previous owner has tried to create separate partitions but it has gone wrong

In the PC there is a 2tb hard drive but on the "This PC" page it says there is only a 500gb drive with some of the space used up.

Looking at "Disk Management" via Administrative tools it says there is a 1862.89GB drive with the following partitions

500GB - Healthy (EFI System Partition)

40MB - Healthy (Primary Partition)

500GB - Healthy (Recovery Partition)

Windows-8 (C) 464.19GB NTFS - Healthy (Boot, Page File, Primary Partition)

350MB - Healthy (Recovery Partition)

Data (X) 24.41GB- Healthy (Primary Partition)

434.76GB - Unallocated

6.66GB- Healthy (Recovery Partition)

931.50GB - Unallocated

Going on my "This PC" page only Data (X) & Windows-8 (C) are accessible.

I haven't ever had a PC with a drive partitioned out like this before so I hope someone can help me fix this, I was thinking if I could restore the PC back to factory settings using "Dell Factory Image Restore" hopefully everything should go back how it should be.

a bit more info about the PC

Dell XPS 8500

Running Windows 8.1 Pro

Intel Core i7-3770 CPU

32GB RAM

Thanks for reading this & I hope someone can help me fix this
