Rescue disk creation

I am trying to create the rescue disk on my dell inspiron 3542 using Dell backup and recovery 1.7.1.2 and I facing problem. It gives a error USB drive not compatible with RESCUE Disk Format. the USB drive I am using is HP v215b. Now what can be done??
