Reinstalling software when upgrading to an SSD

Hello, I recently purchased a new Dell desktop (this XPS 8700), and an SSD (this Samsung SSD). I intend to use the new SSD as the primary drive (C:) and the HD as a secondary drive (D:)

How do I go about installing the OS and drivers, etc on the SSD?

My inclination is to just install all factory software on the SSD using an image from Dell, but I don't know how to do that. How does one actually go about that?
